I have been capturing newborns and families for 8 years and have in recent years noticed a dramatic shift from clients wanting very eclectic galleries filled with multiple colours and themes to 95% of my sessions now choosing a white set.

Simple, timeless, easy right? Hmmmm not quite without the right knowledge, tips and tricks!

If you would like to learn exactly how I capture my white galleries then this is the class for you - I am offering a full jam packed day of training which will cover my 3 main session types including Maternity, Newborn & Sitter.

Introduction

Welcome chat and refreshments

We will discuss essential equipment & studio design.

​

Session 1 - Newborn

I will show you how to capture several key posing table and beanbag images including baby's 'Tiny Details' as well as my most popular parent poses including backlit and wall of light images! I will also show you how to shoot for and include digital composite images in the gallery to help you easily increase your image quantity whilst also adding more interest.

I will discuss settling and soothing techniques, lighting, angles and camera settings.

Lunch Break

We'll enjoy a buffet lunch at the studio which is included in your training price

Session 2 - Sitter Session

I will work through my Sitter Session flow to show you how to create a beautiful white gallery, simply styled

with key props and outfits.

I will cover lighting and angles, camera settings and tips to help keep the little one happy, looking where you need them to and what instructions you should give to the parents to assist keeping the session progressing well

so that you can finish in a timely manner.

Everything learnt in this session is easily transferable to cake smashes.

Session 3 - Maternity

I will work through a variety of different poses and use several different dresses and fabrics. I will show you how I use my wall of light to create a beautiful ethereal gallery.

Coffee & Cake Break

We will enjoy coffee and cake and a chat about what we've covered

​

Editing

I will show you how to edit at least one image from each session including how to use camera raw, photoshop

and 3rd party actions.

Afterwards

I will invite you to join our own facebook group where I can provide you continued support, cc and share images.
