Hello! Elena. 31. Sheffield, UK.Since I was young I've found myself drawn to photography. Coming from a low income family meant I never had the resources or opportunity to pursue it, but any chance I got to line up shots on a family holiday on a cheap digital camera and eventually on phones I took it (much to my Dad's frustration when he realised there were very little pictures of the family).I would take 'Digital Photography' in Video Games as I grew up, but my first real chance was when studying International Journalism as a Postgraduate Course, where we studied Photojournalism. We were given cameras, taught by a photojournalist, and set free to create a portfolio. From there, I began volunteering for Live Action Roleplaying Events (LARP) and developing my skills; growing in my love for capturing moments, stories, and cool character kit. I'm particularly passionate about empowering LGBTIA+ persons, showing the story of an event, and pulling poetry from a snapshot of a moment that has a thousand contexts. I'm always looking to experience and challenge myself!
